You thought you had seen everything at Scifi-Art ?
Well you're obviously wrong :-)
The past few weeks have been really eventful, and we've had the visit of a lot of living legends...
To begin with Matt Allen, from the wolfpack group, Matt has been posting like crazy in the 3D Art forum, posting landscape scenes, including his 3D self driving tanks or piloting StarWars vessels..wheee :-)
Another living legend that returned is Mark Kingsnorth..for those who don't know who Mark is, the names ' behaviour group' and 'STZone' might revive some memories...Mark has inspired a lot of people, me including.I was working with him 4 years ago , when i could barely handle a few cylinders in 3d Studio R4, we were to form a group called Team001 with Mike Wright ( hello Mickey ) ,but heh, it didn't happen and you know the rest of the story :)
who is this guy, that is a regular at our forums..., named Ivor ?.It all started with a superdooper kick ass US space shuttle model, but heh , it wasn't enough, the shuttle had to dock somewhere, so Ivor decided to build a fully featured ISS station...but heh, it still wasn't enough, so Ivor decided the station needed a launch pad....and well you think it's the end of the story ? who knows...:)
Somebody else you can't miss is Hobbit ( Barry Spikes, from the Wolfpack team ), Barry is overloading the forums with 3D US aircrafts, the finest of the finest you'll ever see :)
All this said, just a few figures ..the Scifi-Art site does something around 5000 visits per day, and 4 millions hits per months, which represents around 100 gigs of traffic ( the downloads yeah!)...Thank you to the people that helped with mirrors and general support :)
